April / May 30 - 2 Opening Weekend Free Camping in exchange for 4 hours campground clean up. Bring rakes and work gloves. Free Breakfast Saturday morning for all. 7 - 9 Mother's Day Bingo Saturday afternoon. Sunday: Mom's special day. Moms are invited to come to the Tanglewood Café for a free Breakfast. 28 - 31 Memorial Day Games for the kids. Volleyball for all ages. Horseshoe Tournament. Bingo. Dance. Blossburg Coal Festival.	June 4 - 6 Golf Cart Obstacle Course Come watch our Seasonal Campers maneuver their golf carts through an obstacle course BLINDFOLDED! It's a blast (must be a licensed driver.) Games for the kids. 11 - 13 Campground Yard Sale $50 cash prize paid to the person with the most new or used items to sell. 18 - 20 Father's Day Games for the kids. Sunday bring Dad to the Tanglewood Café for a FREE breakfast. Come see the flaming log on Saturday night. 25 - 27 Chocolate Feast Come down to the Camp Store for ice cream sundaes and chocolate malts. Games for the kids Saturday morning. Bingo Saturday night.
July 2 - 5 Independence Day Celebration Horseshoe Tournament on Saturday and Sunday. Greased watermelon contest in the lake. Bingo, games for the kids, dance. Mansfield Fireworks 9 - 11 Tye-Dye Bring your favorite socks, t-shirt or white apparel for some tye-dying fun! 16 - 18 Christmas In July Prizes for the best decorated camp site featuring the Great Reindeer Race. Games for the kids. A visit with Santa and a wagon ride around the Campground. Potluck supper. We provide the turkey, you bring a dish to pass. 23 - 25 Cardboard Boat Regatta & Hot Dog Potluck Saturday afternoon the 9th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. Participants must be camping with us at Tanglewood Camping this weekend to participate in the race. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in multiple categories. (Children, over 40, 1 man in boat, etc.) $10.00 registration fee, per boat. Saturday evening: Hot Dog Potluck Supper and Boat Regatta Awards Ceremony. We provide the hot dogs and fixings; you bring a dish to share.	August 30 - 1 Campground Water Gun Fight Bring your favorite water weapon. Or water guns may be purchased at Camp Store. Fun for ALL ages. 6 - 8 Easter in August Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. Games for the kids. Jelly Bean Bingo. Potluck Supper: we provide the ham, you bring a dish to pass. Tioga County Fair time! 13 - 15 Luau Break out your Hawaiian shirts and skirts! It's time to eat some Pig and Limbo the day away. Games for the kids. Best costume contest. We supply the pig, you bring a dish to pass. 20 - 22 Tanglewood Carnival Join us in some carnival fun! Duck pond, dart throwing, face painting, lightning ball and many other games and food will be available. 27 - 29 Good Ol' Fashioned Camping Come to the pavilion with s'more supplies and gather round the fire. Share a story if you wish or just stuff your face (bring your own chair.)

We supply the crackers and rolls. Get Your Soup On! 18 - 19 POW - WOW UTENIN DIAHOGA Native American Gathering of all people. Dancers, Drummers, Vendors. Native Americanfoods. Fun for the whole family. $3.00 per person admission fee. Ages 10 and under FREE.	October 1 - 3 HALLOWEEN WEEKEND #1 Pumpkin carving: $3.00 fee per pumpkin. Trick or Treating. Walk on the HAUNTED TRAIL if you dare (not recommended for young children or people with weak hearts. 8 - 10 HALLOWEEN WEEKEND #2 Pumpkin carving: $3.00 fee per pumpkin Best Costume Contest and Parade. HAUNTED TRAIL remains open ... It's A SHOCKER!. 15 - 17 LAST HALLOWEEN Pumpkin carving: $3.00 fee per pumpkin. Trick or Treating. Cardboard Boat Regatta Imagine yourself as the Captain of your Own Cardboard Craft. Rules are as follows: Have Fun. Boats must be constructed of Cardboard. Other Material may include: Hot Glue, Duct Tape and Paint. No Fiberglass, Plastic, Wood or Flotation materials allowed in hull construction. Duct Tape may only be used on the seams of the boat. Boats are to be propelled by oars, paddles or hands. Oars or paddles may be the real thing. Boat Construction goes as follows: Rummage through furniture and appliance recycling bins for two or three layers of Cardboard to insure durability. Use dull side of knife to score when making folds (this makes it easier to bend pieces). Glue the sides to the bottom of the boat. Let the glue set (simple glue, no 2 part epoxies). Carefully cover all seams with Duct Tape. Waterproof the inside and outside with a single substance compound. Paint and decorate your boat. Bring your oars and your boat to Tanglewood Camping for the great race.
